Who writes this, and why

Tracktainer follows containers across 170+ shipping lines. Doing that every day means watching carrier data fail in specific, repeatable ways: milestones that arrive late, empty returns recorded days after the container was physically back, two sources disagreeing about the same discharge.

This blog is the record of that. Every post answers a question that came up at a desk, usually more than once.

The person behind it
